The schedule of works was quite big for a first time renovation... and especially for a girl on her own, who only had a passion and very little experience, but I had my vision for this place, and I was going to deliver it.

The work included a lot of demolition, which I later identified gave me great satisfaction, and good for dealing with a bad day at work! 

I replaced all the rotten windows, ripped out the kitchen, bathroom, fireplace, all carpets, skirting boards, and fixtures and fittings... all ended up in the skip. 

I had a stone fireplace put in, and replaced the rotten external wood panels below the windows with stonework. The interior got all new internal doors, kitchen, bathroom suite, and a full central heating system, not to mention a fully decorated through out. 

It was looking great. My Parents were keen gardeners, and so they kindly helped sort out the garden for me, and I arranged the fencing to be installed to finish off the look.

When I had completed my project I had more than doubled its market value, and I had made an excellent profit. (A lot of money for someone so young, especially when all my friends were off having holidays abroad, and I was playing house) 

I needed to do this again, and so off I went a bought my next project, all whilst I was still working the day job!!
